Killzone 3 May Have Co-Op Mode
Thanks to a report from iGameReport:
Last Night on the Jimmy Fallon show, Killzone 3 was demoed live, during this demonstration, Herman may have let slip about an upcoming feature in Killzone 3.
This could just be talking about the actual multiplayer mode, but it is also possible that he let slip that there is a co-op mode. The line came straight when Jimmy was playing the game during single player. It also looked like a possible location for the co-op to take place as the gunship they were flying in had a friend right next to them. More likely is that he was just about the competitive multiplayer setting, but it could also be a mistake. What do you think? Should killzone 3 have a co-op mode, and is this confirmation?

Killzone 3 Officially Announced
Guerrilla Games recently held a small press event in Amsterdam where the studio finally and officially announced Killzone 3. PlayStation Blog Europe’s James Gallagher was in attendance and has reported on a handful of the revelations made during the event. Gallagher has confirmed a few of the features spoiled by forumites who had received subscriber copies of GamePro’s Killzone 3-centric July issue, which is due out on newsstands June 1.
Killzone 3 is Coming to PS3 in 3D
One of Sony’s major E3 titles has been revealed slightly ahead of time. Sony and Guerrilla Games are delivering on Jack Tretton’s impromptu promise: Killzone 3 is real, and you’ll be able to see it for yourself in the July issue of GamePro, on shelves June 1. A subscriber spilled the Helghan beans on the GameSpot forums, also revealing that the game is playable in 3-D, with the effect requiring the use of glasses (oh, and a 3-D-capable television). GamePro has confirmed the cover story to Joystiq.
That means that Killzone 3 is going to be a showpiece for Sony’s 3-D technology, and therefore we should probably expect to hear a lot about it at the company’s E3 presentation.
